Programme Highlights:
The GFS is a disciplined services department of the Hong Kong SAR Government responsible for providing 24‑hour aviation services in support of search and rescue, air ambulance, firefighting, internal security and government operations. GFS is staffed by a professional team of pilots, aircrew, engineers, and operations personnel dedicated to delivering safe and efficient mission support for the community.
This technical visit offers participants a valuable opportunity to gain first-hand insight into GFS’s operations, aircraft types, specialised equipment and facilities, including:
- Operational briefing and presentation;
- Guided tour of the aircraft hangar;
- Visit to the H175 Full Flight Simulator training facility.
Language: Cantonese supplemented with English
Registration & Enquiries:
- The event is free of charge. Prior registration is required by clicking HERE on or before 28 July 2026.
- Maximum capacity: 25 participants, and priority will be given to members of HKIE Aircraft Discipline (ACE) / Aircraft Division (AC). Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
