The Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corporation Limited is one of the world's most visually spectacular structures, providing approximately 100,000meter square of largely column-free floor space. With a large atrium space interconnected by escalators and walkways.

Standing nearly 180m high, the building also features a four-level basement that sink 20m below ground. The entire structure comprises four steel masts rising from basement level to the top of the building, interconnecting with rectangular "bow-tie" beams and double-storey-height steel suspension trusses.
