Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) is the world’s longest sea-crossing bridge-cum-tunnel. Comprising the 12-km Hong Kong Link Road, the 29.6-km Main Bridge and the 13.4-km Zhuhai Link road, HZMB puts major cities in the Pearl River Delta within a three-hour commute of Hong Kong.

As a key contractor for the HZMB project, ATAL Engineering Group provides comprehensive electrical and mechanical (E&M) engineering services for the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities, vehicle clearance plazas and ancillary buildings, including building services, Extra-Low Voltage system (ELV), Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA), and sewage treatment facilities.

ATAL also designs, supplies and installs the Automatic Vehicle Clearance Support System (AVCSS) and immigration control system at the inbound and outbound vehicle kiosks to conduct customs and immigration clearance for goods vehicles, private cars and coaches, providing convenient services for people and vehicles commuting between the three regions. To meet the stringent security control required for the Bridge, the systems have deployed the latest technologies for vehicle tracking, license plate recognition, facial and finger-print detection, and intrusion detection.

In addition, the Group’s subsidiary company Anlev Elex Elevator Ltd is responsible for the design, manufacturing, installation and maintenance of the lifts for various government buildings and offices on the artificial island.
