Trade and Industry Tower (TIT) consists of a 22-storey office tower, a low-rise multi-purpose community hall and one level of basement.
Post-tension flat slab with standardized system formwork was adopted for the office tower to provide large column free floor area while significantly reduced construction waste and skillful labour demand, enhanced safety and achieved quality construction with a 6-day typical floor cycle.
Major sustainable features included in the project are as follow:
- double glazing and sunshades;
- connection to District Cooling System for air-conditioning;
- building integrated photovoltaic panels and photovoltaic panel;
- solar hot water system;
- solar chimney system;
- daylight sun-tube, solar tracking optic fiber light pipe and anidolic light pipe;
- material with recycled contents, adaptive and modular design for office area.
