ATL Logistics Centre at the Kwai Chung Container Port is the world's largest multi-level industrial building. The integrated ramp, rooftop parking and internal roadway network coupled with extensive parking bays and high ceilings in the storage area provide the customers with state-of-the-art efficiency.
ATL's motto is "Every floor is a ground floor!" as the design allows for the extremely rapid flow of cargo by smoothly bringing all vehicles to their destination where they can rapidly load and unload their cargo. This building is far removed from the Hong Kong's old inefficient godown/warehouse buildings prevalent 20 years ago. The unique ATL concept, design and initial project development were by Alan Goldstein. ATL's functional design coupled with very capable management set the standard for all logistics buildings to emulate. Its success is one major factor contributing to Hong Kong's growth from a small trading port to the key logistics centre in the world.
