Invitation for Expression of Interest in Nomination onto External Boards/Committees in Session 2025/2026 - Open to ALL HKIE members

(Submission Deadline Extended to Friday, 17 October 2025)

The Institution has been nominating members to serve on different advisory boards and committees of Government, tertiary institutions and other public bodies to provide professional advice and views on various engineering issues, including standards, professional conduct, training and education.

The Public Service Committee (PSC) is responsible for co-ordinating the nomination of HKIE members upon receiving invitations for nomination to external boards and committees, following established mechanisms and procedures.

With a view to expanding the opportunities to HKIE members and enhancing the diversity of our representation on external boards/committees, we are now inviting ALL HKIE members to express interest in being nominated onto external boards/committees.

Interested members shall complete a self-nomination form on or before Friday, 17 October 2025. Members are encouraged to read the information for HKIE members prior to completing the form.
