The JPC was incorporated in 2000 and it aims at enhancing productivity of professionals and creating collective synergy among professionals towards developing Hong Kong as a regional professional services centre. The current representative of the HKIE onto the Board of Directors of the JPC is Ir Alice CHOW.

The PGBC, formed in 2002, is a non-profit making research and education institute to promote a better sustainable built environment through professional involvement. The HKIE representatives onto the Board of Directors of the PGBC are Ir Alice K T CHOW, Ir Colin C L CHUNG and Ir Prof P L YUEN.
