攝．望．光．連
Objectives 目的
The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and the Development Bureau are co-organising this Photo Competition, with an aim of showcasing Hong Kong's achievements in infrastructure development and other engineering-related areas, such as innovation and technology, biotechnology, artificial intelligence and smart city. We hope that the Competition could facilitate the public to better understand the vitality of the engineering industry as well as how the forward-looking ideas of engineers contribute to Hong Kong’s bright future.
香港工程師學會與發展局合辦是次攝影比賽，讓會員通過攝影，展示香港完善的基建設施及創新科技在各領域如創新科技、生物科技、人工智能及智慧城市的傑出成就。學會與發展局期望透過是次比賽讓大眾欣賞香港工程專業的生命力，以及工程師如何以前瞻性的構想去建設更美好的香港。
Categories 參賽組別
(a) HKIE Student Member currently studying engineering programmes in local higher education institutions
(b) HKIE Member (any membership class) of 35 years of age or below (on the date of submission)
(c) HKIE Member (any membership class) of over 35 years of age (on the date of submission)
* Each Entrant can submit to one category only.
(a) 現時在香港大專院校就讀工程科目的香港工程師學會學生會員
(b) 35歲或以下任何會員級別的香港工程師學會會員(以提交作品日期計)
(c) 35歲以上任何會員級別的香港工程師學會會員(以提交作品日期計)
* 每位參賽者只可以參加其中一個比賽組別。
Judging Criteria 評審準則
Entries should demonstrate how engineering and engineers benefit the advancement of society. The entries should reflect the theme of the Competition, “Engineering Hong Kong’s Bright Future”, for example:
(a) Advanced infrastructure in Hong Kong;
(b) Application of Innovation & Technology in different areas;
(c) Energetic side of our profession; and
(d) Visions of engineers.
The Panel of Judges will comprise representatives from the HKIE and the Development Bureau, with the following selection criteria:
(a) Relevance to the theme of the competition/ effectiveness in showcasing how engineering contributes to Hong Kong’s bright future;
(b) Composition;
(c) Creativity; and
(d) Photographic technique.
參賽作品應展示工程學和工程師對社會發展的貢獻，並應符合比賽的主題「攝．望．光．連」，例如：
(a) 完善的基建設施;
(b) 創科技術在不同領域的應用;
(c) 工程專業的活力;及
(d) 工程師的願景。
評審團將由香港工程師學會與發展局的代表組成，並就以下標準進行綜合評分:
(a) 符合比賽主題/有效展示工程對香港的貢獻;
(b) 構圖;
(c) 創意;及
(d) 攝影技術。

The award-winning photos from all categories will be displayed/published on the organisers' online platform(s), and site hoardings of selected government construction sites for celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR.
獲獎作品將展示/刊登於主辦單位的網上平台，以及選定的政府建築工地的圍板，以慶祝香港特別行政區成立二十五周年。
