Artificial Intelligence has evolved from early expert systems to today’s powerful AI agent frameworks, reshaping how organizations design and deploy software. This seminar will review the evolution of AI from expert systems to modern agent systems and examine the disruptive impact of AI agents on traditional software models. The discussion will focus on management, governance, and deployment of contemporary AI systems, covering data curation and governance, accountability, cybersecurity, human oversight, red teaming, supplier management, and risk control. Participants will gain practical insights into how organizations can adopt and manage AI responsibly to create business value, while also gaining hands‑on experience with modern AI systems.
Speaker
Dr. Ho Sang LAM, Chairman of AIKm, is an expert in data science and computing engineering with extensive experience applying large language models for precise knowledge retrieval. His career spans leadership roles at VTech, Schneider Electric, Oregon Scientific, HK Productivity Council, and Polaroid, with contributions to 3D optical recognition, product innovation, and AI safety. Holding multiple degrees, patents, and awards, Dr. Lam integrates academic and industrial expertise to advance responsible AI development, while also pursuing personal interests in hiking and modern mathematics.
