The EMSD E&M InnoZone is designed as an immersive showcase of local technological innovation, this interactive tour offers participants a firsthand look inside the recently renovated InnoZone, which features updated interactive exhibits and enhanced facilities. Visitors will experience how cutting-edge systems, ranging from Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and artificial intelligence to robotics and advanced energy management, are being actively deployed to optimize public services and bolster urban infrastructure across Hong Kong. During the visit, attendees will explore award-winning engineering breakthroughs developed and implemented directly by the department. A central feature of the tour highlights EMSD’s globally recognized achievements from the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva in 2026, where the department secured prestigious accolades for its state-of-the-art smart-city, digital twin, and green-technology solutions. Beyond viewing these revitalized exhibits, participants will gain valuable insight into how EMSD leverages its innovation platform to bridge the gap between concept and application, collaborating with local start-ups, research institutes, and universities to pilot world-class innovations.
