The environmental landscape is evolving rapidly, presenting both new challenges and opportunities for the profession. Beyond traditional responsibilities, engineers are increasingly expected to anticipate emerging risks, enhance resilience, and integrate sustainability into every aspect of practice, while embracing digital innovation and artificial intelligence to deliver effective environmental solutions. Through knowledge exchange, cross-sector collaboration, and stakeholder engagement, the Division will continue to strengthen the profession’s contribution to Hong Kong’s sustainability and carbon neutrality goals.
