NOTICE OF THE 38TH ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING (AGM)
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the 38th Annual General Meeting of the Environmental Division will be held on Tuesday, 6 May 2025 at 6:30pm at Chan Yat Mei Sophie Room, HKIE Headquarters, 9/F Island Beverley, No 1 Great George Street, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, for the following purposes:
- To receive and confirm the Minutes of the 37th AGM.
- To receive and adopt the Annual Report of the Division for Session 2024/2025.
- To receive and adopt the Financial Statement of the Division for Session 2024/2025.
- To elect the Chairman and Ordinary Members of the Division Committee for Session 2025/2026.
- To elect the Council Member (Division) for Sessions 2025/2026 and 2026/2027.
In case of adjournment of the AGM, members shall check the Institution’s website at https://hkie.org.hk/ and the Division’s website at https://hkie.org.hk/ev/ for revised details.

Nominations for Division Chairman, Ordinary Members and Council Member (Division)
Division Chairman
The outgoing Division Committee has nominated Ir Prof SHIH Kaimin for Chairman for Session 2025/2026. No other nomination was received.
Ordinary Members (Clause 7.2(c))
Nine members shall retire by the end of the Session. Following these retirements, there are nine vacancies. The Committee has nominated:
- Ir Mannix CHAN Mong Wah
- Ir LAM Chi Sing
- Ir LEUNG Chi Fung
- Ir Steven HO Hing Yu
- Ir Kelvin TANG Sher Kin
- Ir HO Wai Man
- Ir Rocky LAU Hoi Fung
- Ir LIU Kam Fai
- Ir Theresa WU King Yan
One additional nomination was received: Ir Dr Alex CHEUNG Wai Hung. Since nominations exceed vacancies, a ballot shall be held.
Ordinary Members (Clause 7.2(d) – Aged 35 or below)
Two vacancies exist following the retirement of Miss Elaine SHEA Yi Ling and Mr YU Hon Chuk. The Committee has nominated Mr YU Hon Chuk and Miss Wynnifred CHEUNG Un Sei. No other nominations were received.
Council Member (Division)
The Committee has nominated Ir Thomas CHAN Chung Tak for Council Member for Sessions 2025/2026 and 2026/2027. No other nominations were received.
