Call for Application for Sponsorship Rocscience International Conference 2025

Introduction

 

The Rocscience International Conference 2025 (RIC2025) will be a momentous event, scheduled to take place from April 6-8, 2025, in Sydney, Australia, where geotechnical professionals from across the globe will converge. The primary aim of this conference will be to establish a platform for the exchange of innovative ideas and the discussion of critical issues in geotechnical engineering. By providing attendees with networking opportunities, RIC2025 will facilitate collaborations that could potentially lead to groundbreaking advancements in the field.

The theme of the conference, “Beyond the Surface: Deepening our Understanding of Geotechnical Challenges,” is carefully chosen to reflect the evolving nature of the geotechnical industry. As challenges in this field become increasingly intricate, it will be essential for engineers to delve deeper into the underlying complexities. RIC2025 will seek to inspire attendees to explore these challenges from new perspectives, encouraging them to push the boundaries of their understanding and develop innovative solutions.

Invitation to Apply for Sponsorship

 

HKIE GDC is considering to sponsor up to 2 engineers to join this Event.  Subsidy on registration fee up to HK$5,000 will be offered tothesuccessfulapplicantsindividually.Toqualify, applicants shall satisfy the following basiccriteria:

 

  1. Be a member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers, of whatever class;
  2. Submit your current curriculum vitae;
  3. Prepare a written report on the Event.

The successful applicants may be invited by the GDC to share their experience of this Event which will be held in Hong Kong after the Event.

 

The applications will be assessed by the GDC based on the relevancy of this Event to their career development.  The successful applicants will be notified no later than 17th March 2025.
