HKIEGD organised a small ceremony to signify the completion of the technical review by the Task Force on Review of Design Methods for Excavations. The ceremony was held on 18 August 2021. We also took this opportunity to present the Review Report to the Head of the GEO at the ceremony.
The Task Force was chaired by Ir Dr Richard Pang with members from government departments, MTRCL, consultants, contractors and universities. We hope that the results of the review together with the recommendations are of high reference value in the subsequent updating of GCO Publication No. 1/90 by GEO of CEDD.
After the ceremony, we paid a visit to the CITAC and MiC Resources Centre at the CIC’s Zero Carbon Park. There are many innovative technologies, devices and ideas presented.
