Who should join?
Any HKIE members who are aged 35 or below are welcome to join the YGC and work together.
What are the duties of YGC core members?
We will collaborate to plan and arrange a variety of interesting activities, including chit-chat functions, talks, competitions, site visits, etc., for our young members. We will also render support to the GDC in organising divisional events over the year. Each core member will be given a specific role in the YGC and he/she will be offered the liberty to explore creative and wild ideas!
Who are we?
The Young Geotechnical Club (YGC) is a newly established group under the HKIE Geotechnical Division Committee (GDC). The YGC seeks to bring together our young members to form a vibrant force to serve the division. Here, you can meet new friends and gain your network through interaction with other members in the geotechnical field. This is a perfect platform for you to present and implement your ideas and cultivate your leadership and social skills.
