Last Saturday (14 Jan 2023), we organised a technical visit to Po Shan Drainage Tunnel – Landslide Sci-Tech Chamber, with 20 participants joining. During the visit, participants were showcased of the innovative and sustainable groundwater regulation system in the Po Shan Drainage Tunnel to control groundwater level in the Po Shan hillside, so as to reduce the risk of major landslides and enhance public safety. The four major galleries, covering different themes, gave the participants a new horizon of the slope safety measures implemented in Hong Kong. It was a fruitful event and thank you very much for the arrangement and support from the CEDD GEO for their support and arrangement!
