Last Saturday (17 Dec 2022), we organised a technical visit to the Boardwalk Underneath Island Eastern Corridor, with 26 participants joining. A sharing was given at the Community Liaison Centre about the project background and its current progress. The construction team shared experience on the works and challenges of the project with emphasis on geotechnical aspects, such as marine ground investigations, marine pre-bored rock-socketed steel H-piles, etc., and then followed by a tour to the construction areas. It was a fruitful event and thank you very much for the arrangement and support from the Civil Engineering and Development Department (CEDD), Meinhardt Group and Contractor IEC Boardwalk JV for their support!
