A technical visit to the Excelsior Hotel Redevelopment Project was carried out on 27 August, with 29 participants joining. This site visit showed the participants the works and challenges of the project with an emphasis on aspects of deep excavation and lateral support system, followed by a site tour. It was a fruitful event with the arrangement and support from the Excelsior Hotel (BVI) Ltd., Meinhardt (C&S) Ltd, and Gammon Construction Ltd!
