On 27 Oct 2021, a technical visit was organised to the Highways Department’s Contract – Provision of Universal Accessibility Facilities at Footbridges, Elevated Walkways and Subways, with 25 participants joining this event. This site visit showed the participants the construction of pile foundation and geotechnical works, which involve the installation of mini-piles and associated temporary excavation and lateral support (ELS) system for the lift construction. Overall, it is a fruitful event and thank you very much for the arrangement and support from Highways Department and China Geo-engineering Corporation Hong Kong Limited.
