Last Saturday (19 Nov 2022), we organised a technical visit to the Landslip Prevention and Mitigation Works (Contract No. GE/2019/01), with 23 participants joining. This site visit showed the participants the works and challenges of the slopes upgrading construction, including cut & fill slopes, installation of soil nails, construction of retaining walls, installation of green surfacing for various geotechnical features, followed by a site tour. It was a fruitful event and thank you very much for the arrangement and support from the Geotechnical Engineering Office (CEDD) and Ming Hing Waterworks-Ming Hing Civil JV for their support!
