Succeeding from the last session, Discovery Series: Becoming an Engineer 2022 was successfully held on 10 September 2022 with about 100 students participating online and in-person. The event aimed at introducing senior secondary school students to civil engineering and geotechnical engineering and assisting them on JUPAS/UCAS selection and further career planning. Young practising engineers, university professors and members of the HKIEGD Committee also participated as coaches to offer their valuable experience and insights to the students.
