The Login ID consists of the last 7 digits of your HKIE membership number (e.g. if your membership number is “MW0123456”, your Login ID is “0123456”).
For your first login to the new Member Login Area (MLA), please use your default initial password. This is the first 5 characters of your HKID or registered identification document (e.g., if your HKID is A123456(7), your default password is A1234). For security, please change the password immediately after your first login.
A One-Time Password (OTP) will be sent to your registered email address in the HKIE Membership Database for login verification. For security reasons, please do not share the OTP with anyone.
If you choose not to update your password at this time, the password will remain the first five characters of your HKID or registered document for future logins until a more secure password is set.
