Professional Green Building Council (PGBC)

The PGBC, formed in 2002, is a non-profit making research and education institute to promote a better sustainable built environment through professional involvement. The HKIE representatives onto the Board of Directors of the PGBC are Ir Colin C L CHUNG, Ir Rupert K Y LEUNG and Ir Prof P L YUEN.

Joint Professional Centre (JPC)

The JPC was incorporated in 2000 and it aims at enhancing productivity of professionals and creating collective synergy among professionals towards developing Hong Kong as a regional professional services centre. The current representative of the HKIE onto the Board of Directors of the JPC is Ir Alice CHOW.

BEAM Society Limited (BSL)

BSL is an independent, non-profit membership organisation established in 2010. It is committed to administering and developing the BEAM Plus Assessment Tools. It offers impartial assessment on building sustainability and build capacity by providing training for BEAM practitioners – BEAM Professionals (BEAM Pro) and BEAM Affiliates. The HKIE representative onto the Board of Directors of the BSL is Ir Prof Thomas K C CHAN.
