The following documents contain accreditation criteria for engineering degree, higher diploma and computer science programmes respectively :

  • HD submission format for preparation of accreditation documentation (2012 version – 2015 v.1)
• Professional Accreditation Handbook for Computer Science Programmes (2014 version)
  • CS submission format for preparation of accreditation documentation (2014 version)

• Guidelines for Evaluating Joint Programmes Across Jurisdictions

The following documents are optional to be used by higher education institutions for engineering degree programmes seeking accreditation between September 2026 and August 2028 and mandated to be used from September 2028 onwards:

• Professional Accreditation Handbook for Engineering Degree Programmes (optional – September 2026 to August 2028; mandated – September 2028)
• Submission format for preparation of accreditation documentation (optional – September 2026 to August 2028; mandated – September 2028)
• Sample visit schedule for accreditation of engineering degree programmes (optional – September 2026 to August 2028; mandated – September 2028)
