The HKIE is a multi-disciplinary body responsible for qualifying engineers and setting standards for training and admission of engineers. Admission is normally into one of the 22 Disciplines. Each Discipline has its Discipline Advisory Panel and the membership lists of the respective Discipline Advisory Panels are as follows:
